If the Easy-catch is to be fitted on a gate that already opens both ways then the existing catch can simply be replaced with a Easy-catch. However, if the gate is new or operated only in one direction, our two way hinges will be required to permit opening in both directions. These are available for this purpose and easy to fit.

On a practical note, should the intention be to use the locking feature of the Gardencatch the top hinge should be turned upside down so that the gate cannot be lifted off its hinges.
