Fitting Instructions

Fitting the County Catch, Estate Catch and Equine Estate Catch
Figure 1

Figure 1

First set the gate to open both ways by hanging it between the gate posts with about a 40 mm gap for the Estate catch and 50mm for the larger County catch between the gate and the gate post.

Figure 2

Figure 2

If the gate is to be used by non riding traffic, then the catch should be fitted about 1m. Above the ground.

Figure 3

Figure 3

If the gate is to be riffen through, it should be fitted at the top of the gate. So that it can be easily  reached from the horseback.

Figure 4

Figure 4

When you have decided the best position for your catch fit the catch to the center of the gate post using four coach screws.

Fitting the Garden/Farm Catch

Fitting your new catch couldn't be easier, hang the gate between the gate posts so that it can open in either direction
leaving a gap between the gate and gatepost of about 1¼ inches (33 mm).

Using four 5mm screws preferably brass, stainless steel or any anti rust treated, screw the catch into the centre
(not critical) of the gatepost at a height to suit your needs.

Enjoy the ease of use of your new Easy Catch!
